Play your Position
Unless you are a new player and are still trying to find the right position to play, you will need to stick to your position instead of frequently changing it. Each position has its unique requirements, and switching positions frequently will not give you the opportunity to master a particular position properly. Stick to your position and learn to excel in that position contributing to your team.

Be a Team Player
Rugby is a team sport, and if you want to be a better player, you will have to learn how to play as a unit and not as a lone player. As a player, you will need to know your role and master it. The key to becoming a better player is knowing what to do while you are playing the game. All players at some point in the game will have to leave their positions to execute a run or tackle, the key is knowing what to do without putting your team at a disadvantage.

David Justin Miller enjoys playing team sports as it helps build strong bonds with the other team players.
